Promoting cultural inclusion at MAR and the Academy of Ravenna

18 - 19 March 2025

The Breznay-Ganoczy Foundation , in collaboration with the Paolina Brugnatelli Foundation , continues to promote its cultural inclusion program for colorblind people. On March 18 and 19, 2025 , the Rotary Club of Ravenna and the Lions Club of Ravenna donated 6 pairs of Enchroma glasses to restore correct color vision to colorblind people to the Museum of Art of the city of Ravenna (MAR), the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna and the Art High School of Ravenna , which will now also be accessible to colorblind people, making the city of Ravenna one of the most inclusive in Italy.

The Italian Association “How Color-Blind People See” , represented by President Stefano De Pietro , held a conference on color blindness. The event offered a unique opportunity to explore the world of color blindness and how this condition affects color perception.

During the conference, President De Pietro addressed scientific issues related to this visual condition, examining its impact on daily life and possible modern solutions to improve the quality of vision of colorblind people.
